LAURENCE ROBERTS 
PRODUCER / DIRECTOR
Laurence Roberts is an award winning director, writer and artist that has worked on documentaries, narrative filmmaking, interactive media and public art. Born and raised in Toronto, Laurence is a graduate of the York University Film Program (1997) where he specialized in directing and screenwriting. His directorial style focuses on balancing the creation of engaging performances with artful cinematography and a keen attention to detail. After working in the film industry for many years, Laurence founded Forge Media + Design, where he has served as principal and creative director, leading innovative projects in experiential media and interactive narratives for commercial, educational, museum, and corporate clients, as well as creating award winning public art installations. His documentary 'Amidst Us’ was chosen for the prestigious Henri Langlois film festival in Poitiers, France and won the bronze plaque at the Columbus International Film Festival Awards (Chicago). His science fiction short film ‘Torchbearer: Calm Before the Storm’ garnered slots in several worldwide festivals, winning best science fiction short awards in both New York and Los Angeles. He is both excited and honoured to have returned to narrative storytelling with the Coffeeshop Creative team on both ‘Fool’s Game’ and the upcoming horror short film ’Shelter’, which is currently in post-production.​​​​​​​


ANGELA BELL 
PRODUCER / SCREENWRITER / "SAM"
Canadian-UK Actress, writer and producer Angela Bell was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and went to McGill University in Montreal. She studied acting classes at The Barrow Group in New York City and Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). Shortly thereafter, she made her acting debut in Fox Live Action's Age of the Living Dead (2018). In 2021, she wrote, produced & starred in the award-winning short film 400 Days Later, an Official Selection of the 2021 Burbank International Film Festival, 2021 Montreal International Film Festival, and 2021 Wales International Film Festival. For her portrayal of Natalie in the film, Bell won 'Best Actress' at the 2021 New York Cinematography Awards. She is of Canadian, British and Caymanian (Grand Cayman Islands) descent. Upcoming highlights for Bell include Fox/Hulu's tv series Accused (2023) and Lakeside Production's The Heiress of Christmas (2023).​​​​​​​
STEPHEN BELL 
PRODUCER / CO-DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY / EDITOR
Stephen Bell is an Award winning Director of Photography whose work includes nominations at the 2021 Canadian Screen Awards 2021 for session directing on CBC’s Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards with Vérité Films. Stephen directed 400 Days Later, a recent short film, which received 16 official film festival submissions, winning best cinematography at the New York Cinematography Awards, as well as Best COVID-19 film at the Stockholm Film Festival. In 2020, Stephen worked as director of photography as well as editor on the critically acclaimed Messiah/Complex with the Against the Grain Theatre & Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Stephen is the founder of the media design company Coffeeshop Film & Creative recognized as one of Toronto's leading media studios for commercial and promotional videography and design. Online Stephen's self titled Youtube Channel, Stephen Bell now has 6000 subscribers and focuses on producing tutorials and gear reviews for videographers and video editors. 
ERIC MONIZ 
CO-DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY / 2nd CAMERA
Eric Moniz is a highly acclaimed photographer and director of photography hailing from Toronto, Canada. With a career spanning across various renowned productions, he has garnered a reputation for his exceptional work in the world of visual storytelling. Eric has had the privilege of collaborating with an impressive array of high-profile celebrities while also working with local Toronto businesses.
His expertise in the field extends to both photography and cinematography, allowing him to seamlessly transition between the two mediums. Eric Moniz's work is characterized by his keen eye for detail, composition, and a distinctive artistic vision that sets his projects apart. His portfolio boasts a diverse range of captivating visuals, capturing the essence of his subjects and conveying compelling narratives.
Based in Canada but with a global reach, Eric Moniz has directed and orchestrated a multitude of photo and video shoots, leaving an indelible mark on projects in Toronto and beyond. His talent and dedication have earned him recognition and acclaim in the world of photography and cinematography, solidifying his position as a sought-after creative professional in the industry.
 
IAN CUSSON 
COMPOSER
Ian Cusson is a composer of art song, opera and orchestral work. Of Métis (Georgian Bay Métis Community) and French Canadian descent, his work explores Canadian Indigenous experience including the history of the Métis people, the hybridity of mixed-racial identity, and the intersection of Western and Indigenous cultures. 
He studied composition with Jake Heggie (San Francisco) and Samuel Dolin, and piano with James Anagnoson at the Glenn Gould School. He is the recipient of the Chalmers Professional Development Grant, and grants through the National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation, the Canada Council, Ontario Arts Council and the Toronto Arts Council. 
Ian was an inaugural Carrefour Composer-in-Residence with the National Arts Centre Orchestra for 2017-2019 and was Composer-in-Residence for the Canadian Opera Company for 2019-2021. He was Co-artistic Director of Opera in the 21st Century at the Banff Centre and the recipient of the 2021 Jan V. Matejcek Classical Music Award from SOCAN and the 2021 Johanna Metcalf Performing Arts Prize. Ian is an Associate Composer of the Canadian Music Centre and a member of the Canadian League of Composers. 
He lives in Collingwood with his wife and four children.
LORA BURKE 
"AVA"
British-born actress Lora Burke broke onto the Canadian indie scene playing cold-blooded killer Agnes in "Poor Agnes" (dir. Navin Ramaswaran, 2017) for which she won "Best Actress in a Leading Role" at Toronto After Dark film festival and "Most Bad-Ass Performance" (a special Jury Prize created just for Burke) at Cinepocolypse festival in Chicago. She then went on to star in multiple award-winning genre films including 'Lifechanger' (dir. Justin McConnel), 'For the Sake of Viscous' (dir. Reese Eveneshen, Gabriel Carrer) and 'Motherly' (dir. Craig Wallace). 
Burke grew up in Oxford, England dancing and performing in school plays. She was the only member of her family to pursue an artistic career. She left home (Manchester, England) after graduating on a full scholarship from 'The Hammond School of Performing Arts' to begin a career as a professional dancer that took her around the world. She settled in Toronto in 2012 to begin a career in film and TV. 
Recent credits include 'Purgatory Jack' (dir. Butler Brothers, starring Tim Rozon) and 'Painful Comeuppance' (Champlain Media) 
FUAD AHMED 
"MATT"
Fuad Ahmed is a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre’s Actors Conservatory and a recipient of REEL Canada’s RBC Emerging Artist Award. Best known for his breakout role as Dr. Ned Patel in the World War II drama BOMB GIRLS (Global), recent film and television credits include: PAINKILLER (Netflix), CORONER (CBC), TINY PRETTY THINGS (Netflix), THE KIDS IN THE HALL: REBOOT (Amazon), LUCKY 7 (ABC/Amblin TV), BEEBA BOYS (Feature, Deepa Mehta), WORKIN’ MOMS (CBC), INCORPORATED (SyFy), and HUDSON & REX (CityTV).  Upcoming TV & Film projects include, CHRISTMAS CASANOVA, STEALING VOWS and HOW TO DIE ALONE.

Theatre credits include: New, (CanStage/RMTC), Anahita’s Republic (Factory Theatre) Small Mouth Sounds (Segal Centre, Montreal) After Wrestling (Factory Theatre, Toronto),Shakespeare in Love (Citadel Theatre, Edmonton/Royal Manitoba Theatre Company, Winnipeg) and Disgraced(Citadel Theatre, Edmonton).
JORDAN DUARTE 
"PETER"
Jordan Duarte is a Canadian born actor who started his career early on with the CBC. His breakthrough role as Doug in Son of the Sunshine won best ensemble cast at The Canadian Screen Awards. He is also known for his Role as the awkward stock boy in the hit comedy Night Owl which premiered at the South by southwest festival. Jordan can currently be seen on multiple platforms including Netflix and Paramount plus.
